Beef Chili

This Chili is a little spicy but I've given alternatives in "{{  }}" to make it less Spicy.

Also, you can use 99% Fat Free Ground Turkey for 0SP on the myWW Blue and Purple Plans, On the Green plan it would lower the overall points.

Recipe makes 5 Servings

  • Blue 2SP per serving
  • Purple 2SP per serving
  • Green 6SP per serving

Ingredients:

  • Olive Oil Cooking Spray
  • 1 medium yellow onion -diced
  • 1 pound 96% lean ground beef **Or use 99% Fat Free Turkey for lower points**
  • 2 Tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 Tablespoons ground cumin {{1/2 Tbsp for less spicy chili}}
  • 2 Tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 garlic cloves 
  • 1 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Knorr Seasoning Granulated Chicken Bouillon +1 cup water **Substitute: 1 cup Chicken Stock or Beef Stock**
  • 1 28oz can of Rotel Orginal {{or use 1 28 oz. can petite diced tomatoes}}
  • 1 (16 oz.) can red kidney beans, drained
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce

Instant Pot Directions:

  1. Turn Instant Pot to “Sauté” spray with olive oil cooking spray add beef and onion, cook till meat is browned. 
  2. Add all other ingredients to instant pot. 
  3. Cook on “Manual / High Pressure” for 10 minutes with a Natural Release. 

Stove top directions: 

  1. Spray large pot with olive oil cooking spray add beef and onion, cook till meat is browned. 
  2. Add all other ingredients to large pot. 
  3. Bring the liquid to a low boil. Then, reduce the heat (low to medium-low) to gently simmer the chili, uncovered, for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally
